Urban Kitchen & Deli

We went in after checking the website and seeing the beautiful breakfast options. Unfortunately, the only negative thing I have to say is, that breakfast is not served all day. We stayed for lunch and the servings were huge for the prices. I had a mango lemonade and it was delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. They serve halal, and vegan/vegetarian options. I would come back again to try their breakfast. Oh, they also have baklava and cake selections.

After a long day at The Cleveland Clinic a group of us cousins were grumpy and very hungry. I googled restaurants near the clinic and The Urban Kitchen and Deli caught my eye. The reviews were very good and photo’s of their meals looked amazing. One of my cousins wanted mashed potatoes and was mesmerized by their mashed potato photo. After finding a place to park the cousins headed anxiously to get some much needed nutrition. We were greeted by the staff with smiles and helpfulness in deciding what meal we would finally choose, as everything on the menu looked amazing. The waitress was funny and joked with us. She assured me that their iced peach tea was the best around and since I am a peach tea snob, I took her up on that challenge. She won! The most delicious peach tea I’ve ever had. Of course all the cousins, at the table, had to have a sip of the delicious peach tea. All the different meals we ordered were very good. The encrusted chicken was very flavorful and so tender. The mashed potatoes with gravy was amazing. I can go on and on about all the food choices we ordered, but can say everything was delicious. Very large servings. Soon our belly’s were full and our grumpiness gone. The staff treats you like family and that warms a persons heart. A definite gem of a restaurant was found that day. We will be returning to the area soon and will be going back for more delicious mashed potatoes, peach tea and to try one of the Egyptian meals that they also offer. Excellent customer service and friendliness.

Thrilled to find this spot on the same block as the hotel I was staying at while in town visiting Cleveland Clinic. Great service and great food. Got a customized omelette that was phenomenal. Lots of veggies and protein options available. I really liked the gyro meat I got in mine. They also have a variety of Egyptian menu options that I'd love to try. Word of caution, this restaurant is halal so there is no pork. Instead they offer turkey sausage and turkey bacon which were both tasty.

After craving a burger all week, this restaurant definitely satisfied that! We got the Cowboy burger and the Smokey Blue burger. Both were wonderful! The bun was a perfect fluffy brioche. The patty was thick and flavorful. Yummy toppings too! The fries were battered, hot & delicious too! I would definitely come back!

We stopped in on our way to the Cleveland Clinic and this place is great. Fast, friendly service. I had the Peach Pancakes. Not only were they some of the best pancakes I've had, they were also well worth the price in terms of quantity. You will definitely need a box! My mom had the omelette and that looked amazing. The hash browns were perfectly crispy. A establishment.

Fast, friendly and wonderful food. Upbeat atmosphere and clean. We had the gyro, beef shawarma wrap and the chicken sandwich. All had unique flavors and were carefully prepared. We shared baklava and the bread pudding and they were stunning. Everything was made on the premises. We live 4 hours away, but we will come back!

Wonderful service and food! Highly recommend! They have a little bit for everyone. Not a middle eastern food fan? They got your traditional American food as well Walking distance from the clinic and great atmosphere! Coffee lover? Get their Turkish coffee!!!

The food is so delicious! We got the veggie omelette (with added ham), a Belgian waffle and eggs and they were all excellent. Great fresh fruit and tasty coffee. Would definitely come back again!
